what will happen to my dog if he ate an energy chocolate bar?
my dog ate a chocolate energy bar and then ate a tootsie pop and then an oatmeal and raisin granola bar.
For one thing, I hope he poops it all out because chocolate is supposedly poisonous to canines.
Get mad at him while he was doing it, not after. Then he knows it is not allowed, and he will get in trouble if he does it again.
The oatmeal and granola was better for him except the sugar content is sky high -(for both dogs and humans). Expect him to be a hyper doggie.
Maybe he was hungry and you left his dog dish empty so he raided YOUR food stash.
Bad dog.
Hide your food up high where he cannot reach with his grubby little paws. Any danger from eating all these food is longterm.
Bad teeth due to sugar, damage to liver from chocolate and resentful owner who will remember his or her sins forever.
LOL. Mention this to the vet the next time you see the vet.
