New to gymnastics, 15, tips?

Hi,
-started high school gymnastics a year ago
-not strong enough to do bars
-I lift weights three days a week at the ymca
-High School Gymnastics starts in a few weeks (two hr practice 6/wk)
-Last year I got run down a lot
-I eat healthy, like oatmeal, fruits, fish and meat when I can
-What else should I eat everyday? How what should I do to build my muscles?
-ANY tips would be great, I just want to have more energy to work hard this season

I’m a 13 yr old elite level 10 international gymnast who has been doing gym for bout 11 yrs now. Um… ways to get stronger for me I do weights every morning between the hours of 5:30 and 8:00 am and at night I do lots of flexibility for about an hour and then do actual routines and stuff until about 9 and I start them at 4. Maybe because you havent been doing it for a long your strength is still builiding up. But as you get older the harder it is to keep up your strength so I guess that if you work really hard and gradually increase your training hours and intesity you will gradually improve, but it takes time. Maybe swap some of your meals with protein shakes because I do that for breakfast and dinner and then have pasta for lunch. Eat lots of fruit and vegies for morning and afternoon tea.
